The Bold and the Beautiful Poll Results: What Type of Encore Episodes Do You Want to See?

This week, The Bold and the Beautiful is airing some episodes from a remote shot in Monte Carlo in 2016 to fill the show’s regular time slot. BB, like the other soaps, has gone on a production hiatus due to coronavirus concerns.

The Bold and the Beautiful Polling

BB has also shown a two-part docu-series Becoming Bold and Beautiful that takes viewers behind the scenes to the show that’s a worldwide phenomenon. What kind of programming would you like to see in the future? Soap Hub posed this question to BB fans. Read on for the results.

“Hello, Stephanie”

Most of you, a little over 55%, say that you’d like to see BB start from the beginning. The show’s first 25 episodes are available on CBS’s website. You can see them by clicking here.

The first few years of BB unfolded like a novel as Ridge (then Ronn Moss; now Thorsten Kaye) went back and forth between Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Caroline (Joanna Johnson). Meanwhile, matriarch Stephanie (Susan Flannery) schemed to save her marriage to Eric (John McCook).

Classics

Many of you, 17%, would like to see classic storylines shown. For example, BB could show the episodes leading up to Ridge proposing to Taylor (Hunter Tylo) at a fashion show instead of Brooke. Sheila’s (Kimberlin Brown) reign of terror is another candidate for classic viewing.

Weddings And Fashion Shows

A lot of you, 15%, say you’d like to see theme weeks — a series of weddings or a grouping of fashion shows. BB’s first episode shows a fashion show from a backstage point of view, but soon, Forrester models were walking the runway on-screen. A classic series of episodes also featured Forrester Creations and Spectra Fashion sharing the runway on board the Queen Mary.

Recent Material

The smallest group of you, 13%, voted for re-airings of more recent material. There have been some memorable episodes in recent years — Douglas (Henry Joseph Samiri) telling Hope (Annika Noelle) that baby Beth is alive. Hope and Liam’s (Scott Clifton) subsequent reunion on the roof of Forrester Creations.

Also, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Liam’s breakup in early 2018 was heartbreaking and compelling! All of these episodes are worth a second look! The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
