The Bold and the Beautiful’s Katie has been in a lot of predicaments over the years. Her current one was whether or not to break the trust of a new friend who has sworn her to secrecy.
We’re talking about, of course, Sally (Courtney Hope) asking Katie (Heather Tom) to keep her confidence about her life-threatening illness. Should Katie have told Wyatt (Darin Brooks)? Soap Hub polled BB fans on this. Read on for the results.
Just under 64% of you feel that now was not the time for Katie to keep her word. You think Wyatt should know so that he can support his ex during her time of need. Wyatt has a great history of remaining pals with the women he’s split from and that doesn’t need to stop now, especially since Sally needs him.
Sally wanting to keep things private is understandable. But maybe she’ll be glad Katie has told Wyatt if he can be of help to her.
The rest of you, just over 36%, believe that Katie should have kept her word and kept quiet. Katie wants to help her new pal and no one can blame her for that. Katie’s in a pickle and the best thing is sometimes to do nothing. Katie will likely regret that she shared Sally’s news.
Katie may not have had to betray Sally’s trust for Wyatt to learn the truth about his ex’s medical condition. The balcony in the Forrester living room or the open doorway to Bill’s office are perfect places for some eavesdropping to take place if she had just been patient.
If Katie were to talk out loud near either of those locations and Wyatt happened to be nearby, then he’d have discovered the news about Sally on his own. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
