Liam was never on board with Hope becoming Douglas’s legal mother but Hope didn’t care and went ahead and coerced Thomas into signing the papers anyway on The Bold and the Beautiful. Liam tried to live with it, but now he’s over it. And he has an ultimatum.
Liam (Scott Clifton) got down on one knee and whipped out a ring once again for a surprised Hope (Annika Noelle), but she was even more surprised when he told her that the proposal was conditional. She’d have to give up all contact with Thomas (Matthew Atkinson), and therefore his son if she wanted to marry him. Soap Hub asked what Hope should do. Here are the results of this poll.
It looks like most of you are on Liam’s side as 75% of you say she should choose Liam hands down and forget about Douglas (Henry Joseph Samiri). Sure, the little boy lost his real mom under a year ago and thinks of Hope as his new mom.
Sure, he’s abused by his sociopathic dad, but that shouldn’t be Hope’s problem. Douglas is not hers and she belongs with Liam and baby Beth. That’s the way it was always supposed to be.
The other 25% of The Bold and the Beautiful fans polled think Hope needs to forget Liam and his ultimatums and focus on poor little Douglas who needs a mom and whose dad is just not fit to raise a child at this time.
Some of you even want Liam to allow Hope to choose both of them. You remember that Liam is Douglas’s godfather and perhaps should care more about the boy, especially since he defied Thomas to help return Beth to them. You think Liam’s conditions are cruel and Hope should be able to make her own choices in life (even if working with Thomas is a decidedly bad choice). The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
