The old saying “the more things change, the more they stay the same,” could be applied to The Bold and the Beautiful revisiting the Katie/Bill/Brooke triangle once more. Is Bill really going to break Katie’s heart… again?

Soap Hub asked BB fans how they feel about these three getting into the ring again. Read on for the results.

Everything Bold Is New Again

While BB fans can always count on one of the Spectra gang swiping a Forrester original and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) to sooner or later break up — only to make up, not every story that’s revisited will be met with open arms.

Just under 90% of you groaned “not this again” when asked how you felt about Katie (Heather Tom) getting betrayed again by Bill (Don Diamont) and Brooke. The last time, Katie almost didn’t survive the infidelity. She’s given Bill another chance, but if he blows it, fans may never forgive him!

Brill Forever

The other 10% of you are like, yeah! Bring it on! Some of BB’s most dramatic moments have been Bill and Brooke and Katie squaring off with one another. Sure, Katie told Bill and Brooke to go for it (and they did), but she was suffering from postpartum depression and they knew it! Katie rightfully blasted her sister for her betrayal.

At one point, she told Brooke that the late Stephanie (Susan Flannery) was right and that she was “a slut from the Valley!” Tom was nominated for a Daytime Emmy for her reaction to Bill and Brooke’s last infidelity. We see Daytime Emmy gold all around if the show delves into this triangle once more.

BB has been in the soap business for three-plus decades! We’re guessing that if the show does go all-out and revisits this triangle once more, the show will put a spin on it that will make it look fresh and exciting. Stay tuned to see what happens next.
