Will Spencer of The Bold and the Beautiful could be in denial over his inherited playboy traits. After all, his dad is Dollar Bill Spencer. It could become front and center in the fall season of the CBS soap.
Concerned Son
Will (Crew Morrow) returned home from school over the summer. He was shocked when his father, Bill (Don Diamont), revealed he was in a serious relationship with Poppy (Romy Park). He also announced that Luna (Lisa Yamada) was his biological daughter.
Bill’s son had to process this new information. He wasn’t happy about this new instant family. However, it didn’t last long. It turns out the name Luna was short for “lunatic.” She faked the paternity test and framed her mom for the murders she caused.
Bill reflected on his relationship with Katie (Heather Thompson). He told her that he wanted to bring their family back together. Will feels that his mom deserves better. He doesn’t want his parents to reunite because of the hurt that his father caused his mom in the past. Will is staying in Los Angeles to look out for his mom.
Like Father, Like Son?
Will is taking on the role of a protective son because he doesn’t want to end up like his father. He knows Bill has broken his mom’s heart too many times and can’t be trusted. What Will doesn’t realize is that he could’ve inherited Bill’s playboy trait.
In his interview with the WaterCool, Crew Morrow teased, “I mean, as much as Will doesn’t like to admit it, he’s a playboy like his father.”
He’s still upset at his father for his lack of fidelity. He’ll also have to come to terms with these traits within himself. This will magnify when Electra Spectra (Laneya Grace — here’s what you need to know) comes to Los Angeles. In that interview, Morrow also hinted that Will and RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) will become romantic rivals.
Does this mean that Electra could get hurt and end up in RJ’s arms? He cemented himself as the “good guy.” It’ll be interesting to see how Will handles his own romantic affairs while judging his father.
