What Hope for the Future? Why Isn’t Hope Focused On Reviving Her Line on Bold and the Beautiful?

Hope’s mind has been all over the place, to say the least. Last year, she lost focus on The Bold and the Beautiful. She’s also not focused on reviving her couture line, Hope for the Future.

Back to the Future

Since getting her job back, Hope (Annika Noelle) hasn’t worked on her line. Rather, she spends most of her time in the executive office with Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor). So far, the two have made poor business calls, like allowing Katie (Heather Tom) to fire Electra (Laneya Grace) without reason. (Hope and Carter proved why they’re unfit to run Forrester Creations.)

The first order of business was to bring back Hope for the Future, but they’re now focused on fragrances. Carter desperately wants to elevate the Forrester brand. He feels that it should be a luxury brand. He also wants to expand the brand to include numerous items like vehicles, jewelry, and perfume.

What HFTF?

HTFT isn’t on the radar at the moment, but it’s not like Hope has much of a winning team this time around. Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) left Forrester Creations and went to Europe. After their coup attempt, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) refuses to work with Carter and Hope.

Zende (Delon de Metz) is the only designer who can turn HFTF around. Unfortunately, his services haven’t been utilized. Hope hasn’t devised a brilliant idea to revive the couture line. She only went along with Carter’s idea of releasing a lingerie collection.

Personal Alliances

Bringing back the line hasn’t mattered to Hope. It seems like she hasn’t taken her career seriously. Perhaps Hope just wants to get revenge against Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) for her firing. Plus, it’s like Hope has lost her identity. (This is why Hope for the Future failed in the past.)

Hope also knows that Carter is wrapped around her finger. He won’t express his concern about her future with Forrester like Ridge and Steffy have. Doesn’t it seem like Hope needs to jump on reviving her line soon?
