Hope for the Future is canceled. Of course, this isn’t the first time the collection has been pulled from Forrester Creations. The couture line has been through its share of ups and downs over the years on The Bold and the Beautiful.

What hasn’t helped is Hope’s identity to the brand. She lost her sense of self after her divorce from Liam. Hope jumped from man to man instead of focusing on herself like she said she would. Now, she doesn’t get the opportunity to reinvent herself.

What is Hope For the Future?

Hope for the Future was a couture collection gifted to Hope (Kim Matula) by her aunt Katie (Heather Tom). At the time, Forrester Creations was a subsidiary of Forrester Creations. Hope didn’t have experience in business acumen, fashion design, or modeling. But that didn’t stop her from getting her visions out there.

HFTF was an immediate hit in Paris. Forrester Creations wanted to capitalize on it. Hope’s initial “hope” for the line was to promote purity and ethics. At the time, she was a virgin who wanted to save herself for marriage. Also, proceeds from the line would benefit numerous charities and non-profits.

The line’s mission has changed over the years. When Maya Avant (Karla Mosley) was the new face of the brand, the “hope” was female empowerment. Hope’s name and identity remained tied to the brand. However, HFTF was always at risk of being canceled because it could never keep a designer. But is that the reason for its failure?

Here’s Why the Collection Failed

Hope for the Future was last canceled in 2015. However, it had a resurgence just a few years later. So, why was the brand struggling again? Steffy (Jaqueline MacInnes Wood) said the numbers have been performing. She also revealed that they kept HFTF only because of Hope’s (Annika Noelle) identity to it.

What is Hope’s identity these days? She divorced Liam (Scott Clifton) and ended up in a short-lived fling with Thomas (Matthew Atkinson). She recently lusted after Steffy’s husband, Finn (Tanner Novlan), and is now starting a romance with Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor—Who Shared BTS Action For B&B).

Hope lost all focus on her line, causing it to flop. She should’ve been focused on getting back on top. Then, she would’ve been at risk of getting fired from Forrester Creations. Hope needs to find herself before she can regain control of HFTF again. Maybe the brand would strive without her name and personal life at the forefront.
