The current corporate chaos at Forrester Creations on The Bold and the Beautiful has raised questions about the company’s hierarchy. Currently, Ridge and his daughter Steffy are co-CEOs. Ridge wanted to step back and focus on design, so he assigned Brooke senior responsibilities. But that doesn’t mean she gets the final say on her daughter’s collection.
This also raises questions about Massimo Marone’s former role in Forrester Creations. He wanted to help Stephanie Forrester reclaim the company from her husband, Eric. Years ago, this led to a similar corporate shakeup. Find out how Massimo’s shares could help Steffy and her brother, Thomas.
Who Was Massimo Marone?
Massimo (Joseph Mascolo) worked for Forrester Creations from 2001 to 2006. When he first arrived in Los Angeles, he wanted to reconnect with Stephanie (Susan Flannery). The two stayed in touch without Eric’s (John McCook) knowledge. They schemed to take over Forrester Creations.

Eric couldn’t trust Massimo. He claimed that Marone Industries had ties to the mafia, and he didn’t want that embedded into his family brand. That didn’t stop Massimo from getting involved with Forrester Creations. He willingly helped Stephanie reclaim the company.
This happened around the demise of Logan Designs. In 2003, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) was removed from her role as CEO of Forrester Creations. Ridge (formerly Ronn Moss) gave Sally (Courtney Hope) the line, which was renamed Spectra Couture.
Ridge eventually returned to work for Forrester. This reset Massimo’s storyline. (Read Massimo‘s Character Recap Here.) He ended up with most of the fortune from the family fashion house. Massimo disappeared in 2006 and hasn’t been mentioned since.
Sadly, legendary soap actor Mascolo passed away on December 8, 2016, after complications from Alzheimer’s disease. It wouldn’t make sense to recast the character. Still, Massimo’s fortune could be called into question.
Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) could retain full control by buying Forrester’s shares. This would be the ultimate payback to Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor), who is actively pursuing investors. This could bring a whole new twist to the family fashion wars.
