With Thomas in Paris, Hope needs a new plan for her fashion line. And in the April 9 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, she came up with the next phase of ‘Hope for the Future.’
Previously, Hope (Annika Noelle) and Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) made a great team. Their professional chemistry plus their personal chemistry clicked. It made them an unbeatable pair. As a result, Hope has big shoes to fill. She needs to come up with a foolproof plan.
This time, Eric (John McCook) and Zende (Delon de Metz – who’s celebrating a birthday) won’t be collaborating to fill in for Thomas. Of course, Zende’s in the mix, but Hope reeled in RJ (Joshua Hoffman) and Luna (Lisa Yamada) to help ensure HFTF doesn’t suffer. And Hope put her positive spin on it, too:
Hope for the Future is this company’s youngest line. And you are this youngest generation of Forrester Creations. You are all brilliant and talented. And I am very excited about what we can achieve together. But, in order to do so, we’re really, really going to have to step up to do that.
Zende was named Thomas’s replacement as HFTF’s lead designer, and Hope assigned Luna to work closely with Zende. This is where the drama comes in. After all, Zende and Luna have a big secret they’re keeping from RJ. Also, Zende has made it clear multiple times that he has feelings for Luna. (Check out our photo recap of yesterday’s episode here)
Needless to say, this is a train wreck waiting to happen considering Luna continues to feel an immense amount of guilt because she hasn’t told her boyfriend about her night with Zende. But she told Zende that’s going to change. She’s going to tell RJ this time.
We think Luna needs to tell her boyfriend about what went down sooner rather than later. It might make things even more awkward (and turbulent) around the conference table at work, but RJ needs to find out and react to it appropriately or inappropriately, whatever the case may be. (B&B’s Tanner Novlan celebrates his birthday today)
That’s our feedback. Soap Hub ventured to X/Formerly Twitter to take the temp of B&B fans on this messy matter.
A frustrated @ChelseaAMusic said, “Luna, you already betrayed RJ by not telling him the truth right away about your drugged night with Zende & instead you kept your mouth shit like don’t go acting all innocent in this now!!!”
Meanwhile, @statuesque_lady agreed saying, “at this point any excuse Luna gives RJ about why she didn’t tell him it’s not gonna matter she’s waited way too long and the reason why is ridiculous #boldandbeautiful”
@sleaming31 felt “glad Hope made Zende the lead designer of HFTF and not Rj — he has more experience in the industry. It’s too bad Luna has to work with him, as Hope requested. LOL! #boldandbeautiful”
@AnastasiaAmor1 doesn’t think Zende is going to cut it. “Luna is so looking forward to working with Zende? Is she there to learn at the hands of the guy who couldn’t pull off HFTF? Isn’t this the time for Hope to hire a new designer?”
@amynorthgeorgia was happy Hope wanted “Zende to lead the design team because he deserves it. ..we need to hear this after RJ getting all the nepotism from Ridge! #boldandbeautiful”
@_chickymonkey is shocked by the latest design development. “What??? Zende is going to replace Thomas, and not RJ replacing him?? #boldandbeautiful”
@DESMYFRUITNACKS was happy for Zende saying, “Look at Hope appreciating my Zende #boldandbeautiufl”
