It’s time to say goodbye. Your favorite stars from The Bold and the Beautiful are moving from the CBS Television City Studio to the Sunset Las Palmas Studios in Hollywood. Both studios are historic in their own right. In an emotional social media post, Don Diamont shared the history behind his old home.
Swan Song
Diamont shared behind-the-scenes photos from his time on B&B on Instagram. He posed with John McCook (Eric Forrester) and Heather Tom (Katie Logan). The cast also took their final photo together on the soundstage. This was his last time filming the soap at CBS Studios.

He captioned the photos, “This was the first Monday in 40 years that I woke up with CBS Television City not being my home away from home. @bbheathertom and I shot our last scenes together on Stage 31 last Wednesday.”
As Diamont noted in his Instagram post, this studio is rich with history. He shared one thing he has in common with Elvis Presley: “Elvis shot his first appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show at TV City, which is a personal favorite of mine,” Diamont wrote. The studio went through many changes during the decades. If walls could talk, this studio would have plenty of stories to tell.
Looking To The Future
Though this is a sad move, it’s not a total loss for the B&B cast. They will move to another historic studio, where they will share more stories. Of course, this move hurts. “Thank you for EVERYTHING, TV City,” Diamont continued. “I will miss you, and you will always hold a very special place in my heart!”

The soap actor is looking forward to the future ahead. He’s grateful to be part of a show that has longevity. “Sunset Las Palmas…, I can’t wait to meet you, and look forward to B&B moving ONWARD AND UPWARD!!! 🙏🏻❤️” Diamont concluded his post.
Most B&B fans shared their love in the comments by posting red heart emojis. Others applauded Diamont’s acting in the Monday, July 14 episode. Bill (Diamont) was desperate to see Liam (Scott Clifton), who was in a coma after undergoing life-saving surgery. Diamont’s scenes pulled heartstrings, and so did this Instagram post.
