Steffy is deeply grateful to her doctor husband Finn for helping save her grandfather Eric’s life, but the Bold and the Beautiful heroine also loves her brother Thomas Forrester. Finn’s not Thomas’s biggest fan right now in light of what he’s learned from Xander. Translation: there’s trouble ahead!
There’s no one you want on your side more in life than Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). She backs those she loves with passion and love. So, it’s understandable that she doesn’t want to hear anything bad about her brother. She believes Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) is innocent of harming poor dead Emma (Nia Sioux) despite what Xander (Adain Bradley) claims.
Finn (Tanner Novlan) understands that Xander lied about baby Beth being alive and he lost his gig at Forrester Creations as a result. Xander’s got an ax to grind, but does that mean he’s wrong about Thomas’s role in Emma’s death? Finn thinks may Xander have a valid case. Steffy loves her brother, but at the end of the day, she loves her husband the most in life. We can see the fashion executive getting objective at some point, realizing that Finn isn’t out to hurt her brother. She’s going to see that Finn has a point, and she’s not going to invalidate that — even if it means she goes against her brother.
While Steffy loves Finn and appreciates him coming back from the dead, she’s not going to let any harm come to her brother. If Finn keeps pushing Xander’s theory that Thomas purposely killed Emma then Finn will find himself sleeping in the guest house faster than you can spell BeLieF. Steffy does the moral thing — like when she stopped her parents (Ridge and Taylor) from remarrying because Ridge didn’t have the whole story — however, we can’t see her taking anyone’s side if it means Thomas would go to jail.
Another possibility is that Steffy will not tolerate Finn dissing her brother in any way, shape, or form. If Finn continues to press the matter or, even worse, calls the police, then Steffy will end things with her husband — as they say in the medical field — stat! Steffy doesn’t ask much from Finn but she’s going to need him to drop his inquisition into Thomas’s actions the night Emma met her early demise.
