The Bold and the Beautiful Jennifer Gareis
When Donna and Eric were keeping their split a secret from Stephanie many years ago, the middle Logan daughter, played by Jennifer Gareis, had to put on a good face. Now, she’s wearing a mask over her face — and it’s not just one, but two!
“I look like the #maskedbandit,” Gareis wrote in an Instagram post, which can be seen below, in which she’s wearing a leopard themed mask and hat, “but it’s just another day at the #office. Actually double #masking it.. got the #n95facemask underneath & the #animalprint on top! Who says we can’t still have #style?? @boldandbeautifulcbs @cbstvstudios #boldandbeautiful.”
The post turned into a mini-Q&A as Gareis took time out of her day to interact with people, responding to their comments and questions.
One follower, @sebasdevalk asked, “Is it more difficult to film scènes with the 1.5 mtr distance?” Gareis responded: “You know.. it took about 2 days to get used to it.. honestly!!!”
“Love the animal print ❤️💜🧡,” posted @libby.almond. Jennifer Gareis wrote back: “It is actually a bathing suit cover-up, sometimes I can’t deal with ‘real’ clothes during Covid!!”
“I want to go!” posted BB fan @tiaragibbs37. “Be somebody’s new love interest in #youngandtherestlesscbs or #boldandbeautiful please come get me!!!!” Gareis cheerfully replied: “hey.. hey let ‘Donna’ get a lover first and perhaps we can talk about you getting one… or maybe she has one??”
Donna is overdue for some love in her life on The Bold and the Beautiful. She wed Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears), the father of her son, Marcus (Texas Battle), years ago, but the union was short-lived. Might Donna and Justin find their way back to one another? Or could Donna make a play for Eric (John McCook)? That would certainly cause Quinn to go into combat mode!
Donna goes back to the show’s early days when Carrie Mitchum played the part. Donna played out a few triangles including one with Macy (Bobbie Eakes) and Thorne (Jeff Trachta).
She exited the canvas, returning for a few of Brooke’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) weddings to Ridge (Thorsten Kaye). Then, Gareis assumed the role in 2006 and has played the part on and off ever since.
