The Bold and the Beautiful Alum Jeff Tracta Celebrates His Birthday

Former The Bold and the Beautiful star Jeff Tracta has been labeled an actor, a recording artist, a Las Vegas revue headliner, and an impressionist. And now, he’s adding another title to his repertoire: birthday boy.

Happy Birthday, Jeff Tracta

And that’s because he was born on October 6, 1960, in Staten Island, New York, which means that this talented multi-hyphen is turning 63 years old today! Tracta’s (who used to spell his last name Trachta but has since dropped the “h”) first professional credit was Hunter Beldon on ABC’s late-morning soap opera Loving.

His next role is the one for which he is still most identified: Thorne Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful. Tracta was the second actor to portray the character — having succeeded actor Clayton Norcross — and he would himself be replaced by Winsor Harmon after a seven-year tenure.

Tracta’s other acting roles include guest appearances in episodes of Strip Mall and the Pamela Anderson vehicle V.I.P., as well as lead parts in films such as Interlocked: Thrilled to Death and Poison (starring future General Hospital alum Kari Wuhrer). Tracta also appeared in two made-for-TV movies — Here Comes the Munsters and Night Eyes Four: Fatal Passions — and voiced a character in the video game Red Dead Redemption II.

As a singer, Tracta has released three albums, all of which have achieved triple platinum status worldwide. He has performed in a number of sold-out concerts in stadiums and arenas throughout the world in such locales as Germany, Holland, India, Italy, and South America.

Tracta has appeared in a plethora of theatrical shows, beginning with his turn as Danny Zuko in Tommy Tune’s Broadway revival of Grease. Other shows include The Phantom of the Opera, Little Shop of Horrors, Cinderella, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat, and Bye, Bye Birdie.

In addition to his work in film, television, and on the stage, Tracta is also a popular stand-up comedian and impressionist. Joan Rivers, George Burns, Larry the Cable Guy, and President Donald Trump are among the many celebrities he tackles.

Soap Hub would like to wish Jeff Tracta a very happy birthday and many more.
