There’s a reason behind Taylor’s return. Things took a shocking turn on the Friday, September 20th episode of The Bold and the Beautiful. Taylor dropped a bombshell that could change everything for the Logans and Forresters.
Revisiting Friendship
Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) visited Taylor (Rebecca Budig) at Steffy’s (Jaqueline MacInnes Wood — who teased shenanigans for Steffy) cliffhouse. She asked Taylor her thoughts on being friends again. Their friendship fell apart when Taylor tried to get Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) back. What also hasn’t helped matters is that their daughters keep feuding.
Brooke admitted she was tired of their constant feuding. At first, Taylor seemed hesitant about revisiting their friendship because of Hope’s (Annika Noelle) indecent kiss with Finn (Tanner Novlan). She advised Brooke to speak to her daughter.
Brooke asked Taylor to speak to her daughter as well. She wants Steffy to get over her power trip. Steffy was this close to canceling Hope for the Future. However, she made a last-minute call to save the collection.
Taylor and Brooke agreed to speak with their daughters. They don’t want their competitive natures to trickle down to their kids. Taylor shared that life is too short to spend most of it fighting. Her words were ominous for what was to come. Brooke and Taylor agreed to become friends again.
End of Family Feud?
Taylor had a change of heart, and it’s for a good reason. During her conversation with Brooke, Taylor texted Dr. Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda). Taylor asked to speak with her about her appointment in Europe. That’s when Taylor dropped a major bombshell: she had heart failure and was dying.
This could explain why she returned to Los Angeles. She wanted to spend her final moments with her family and make amends with Brooke. This news could change the trajectory of the Logan-Forrester feud that’s gone on for years. The families could finally put their differences aside and put on a united front.
B&B fans would love to see an end to the Logan-Forrester feud. Sadly, it could cost a character’s life to make it happen.
