The Bold and the Beautiful fans are still on edge, wondering if Liam is actually going to perish from his brain tumor, or if there will be an 11th-hour miracle cure. As this is a soap, anything is possible. For his portrayer, Scott Clifton, this storyline may have seemed like it was close to home because there was a health scare in his own family. His girlfriend, Elle Anderson, had a major health issue, and Clifton was on hand to help her through it.
There Were Physical Challenges
Anderson posted some snaps and videos on Instagram and wrote, “The physical challenges have been real, but the people around me have been my strength. One week into a two-week bedrest and with many weeks of physical therapy to come, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for the love and support. Thank you @cliftoncam @docs.health @brytneeratledge @jmattatkinson @draconus03 @mor.portnoy @trenttrail @dr.fayesnyder ❤️🩹.”
In the first pic, Anderson is lying in bed with medical gear nearby, and the overlaid text explained her predicament: “A year and a half after a bad car accident left me with a 53% curvature in my spine. 6+ hours of surgery, 4 doctors and a robot @docs.health saved my life and ability to walk.” Next was an x-ray of her spine, with the caption, “@cliftoncam lovingly nicknamed me Quasimodo 🙄😂💔.”
There was a snap of her dog, with the hilarious statement, “@thefrenchiebosses stay close for support… and any leftover food 😂,” and a pic of her sitting in a chair with a cup of coffee and smiling was captioned, “Very thankful for friends like @brytneeratledge & @jmattatkinson who bring dinner & breakfast for bedroom visits.” (Find out why Clifton was suspended on X.)

It Was a Team Effort
There were a couple of videos, the first of which was Clifton’s son, Ford, and Anderson having a lovely bonding moment. Then there was one of Clifton buckling what appears to be rehab support bands that are either post-op compression or circulation-promoting recovery bands. He gets winded trying to strap them on, and Anderson cheekily notes that he’s had a lack of sleep due to having to help “a disabled person.”
Prayers and love came from her followers, with one writing, “❤️❤️ Get well soon, beautiful! I’m so sorry you had to go through that!!!” Several fans related their own tales of spinal issues, and one illustrated the sentiment of all with, “I’m so glad you are recovering and that you had such wonderful caregivers to help u along the way 🙌.” (Will Liam’s impending death bring Wyatt back to the show?)
