Hope’s love life has been confusing on The Bold and the Beautiful. This year, she’s broken up with Thomas, developed a crush on Finn, and is now pursuing a romance with Carter. While Sinn fans are happy she’s moving away from Finn, many are wondering if she’s really over him.
Goodbye Finn
Hope (Annika Noelle) and Carter’s (Lawrence Saint-Victor) came out of nowhere. The two showed no previous romantic interest in each other, plus Hope still seemed hung up on Finn (Tanner Novlan). Hope and Finn were chatty on the day of Jökull Júliusson‘s performance. Later, she was thinking about their drunken kiss before Carter came into the office and started flirting with her.
The handsome lawyer is making Hope forget about her infatuation with Finn. But does this mean Hope’s pursuit of Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) husband is over for good?
In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Annika Noelle thinks fans have seen the last of Hope and Finn.
”I hope that is laid dead and buried. I think it was just very misguided,” Noelle said. “You know, she was really lost after Thomas left, and I think she was just searching for anything to cling on to, to keep her head above water…and unfortunately, it happened to be a drunken kiss with Steffy’s husband! It was very inappropriate and something that was pretty out of character for her. I think she was just idealizing someone because she so desperately wanted to believe that there would be someone else out there for her. She just was completely idealizing the wrong man.”
It looks like Hope and Steffy won’t be fighting Finn, something Noelle is grateful for.
”I’m hoping that especially after everything she went through with Liam, she remembers the lesson that she learned with this is ‘I don’t want to have to constantly have that battle with another woman over a man,’” Noelle explained. “She deserves someone who sees her worth and who loves her and is loyal to her. Every woman does. I’m hoping that she might fully get that lesson drilled into her head after her mistake with Finn.”
With Finn out of the picture, has Hope found her Mr. Right in Carter?
