Hope Logan feels that Thomas wasn’t the issue in her marriage to Liam on The Bold and the Beautiful. Instead, it was Liam’s lingering feelings for Steffy that caused their union to end.

Is Hope (Annika Noelle) right to feel this way? Is it fair for her to blame Liam’s love for Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) as the reason she turned to Thomas (Matthew Atkinson)? Soap Hub posed this question to B&B fans.

Liam’s been in love with Steffy this whole time? That’s news to about 13% of those of you who voted. You recall Liam objecting to Thomas because he was afraid of him making a move on his wife. You don’t quite remember Liam lusting after Steffy. He accepted her marriage to Finn (Tanner Novlan), and he moved on. Liam felt he was in a triangle with his wife and Thomas — not a quadrangle with the two of them plus Steffy.

Many of you, 43%, say that yes, Hope is right to blame Steffy. She may have forgiven Liam for turning to Steffy (before she committed to Finn) and having sex with her after Liam thought that Hope had sex with Thomas. (The designer was really lusting after the Hope mannequin.) But how could Hope have forgotten? She arguably feels that Liam was looking for a reason to have a roll in the hay with Steffy, and he found one fairly easily.

Mirror, Mirror
The majority of you, 44%, believe that while Hope has a right to be upset at Liam for having feelings for Steffy, she is at fault, too, for the collapse of her marriage. Hope could have suggested counseling instead of rushing off and jumping into bed with Thomas. After all, he’s not the healthiest relationship, given the number of times Thomas has lied to Hope and tried to manipulate her. Perhaps she should not be with Liam, but how can Thomas be better for Hope?
