Who’s coming and who’s going from the soap opera casts of The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of our Lives, General Hospital, and The Young and the Restless?
Here’s a list of the top exit and entrance news from all four daytime dramas. Find out if any of your favorite performers from yesteryear are returning to the shows you follow, or if any new actors or actresses have been cast in contract, recurring, or day-player roles.
After 13 years as Gabi Hernandez on Days of our Lives, Camila Banus has wrapped up her run on the soap. The actress, who filmed her last scenes in April, made her final onscreen appearance on Thursday, November 9, when Gabi was sent to prison to await sentencing regarding Li’s (Remington Hoffman) murder.
Martha Madison finished up her run as Belle the same day. She said farewell on X (formerly Twitter).
Steve Mize has been cast as Dr. Pierce. The physician will share scenes with Tina Huang’s Melinda on Wednesday, November 15.
Jane Elliot’s latest stint as General Hospital’s Tracy Quartermaine has ended — for now. Her character left town on Wednesday, November 8 to head back to Amsterdam to help Bobbie settle Luke’s (Tony Geary) affairs. Elliot returned to the soap last April. Look for her to return in the not-too-distant future.
Naomi Matsuda is returning as Li Finnegan. Finn’s (Tanner Novlan) mom airs on Monday, November 13, and Tuesday, November 14.
Romy Park pops back in as Poppy Nozawa, Luna’s (Lisa Yamada) mother and Li’s sister. She appears on Monday, November 13 and Tuesday, November 14.
That was Henry DiNapoli portraying Brodie, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Finn’s new manny. The actor has had day roles on the soap before, most recently in June 2022, when Quinn (Rena Sofer) swiped his character’s bike to pedal off and stop Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) from marrying Paris (Diamond White).
Beth Maitland is back on The Young and the Restless set filming scenes as Traci Abbott. The actress shared the news on Instagram and Facebook, posting, “Packing my bags and buckling up for Genoa City tomorrow.” Look for the Abbott sibling to begin airing again in a few weeks.
Jess Walton, who’s been off the canvas as Jill Abbott investigating Mamie’s (Veronica Redd) ties to Chancellor-Winters, returns to the screen this week. She’ll interact with Trevor St. John’s Tucker on Thursday, November 16.
Tricia Cast continues her visit as Nina Webster. She’ll share key scenes with her TV son, Conner Floyd’s Chance, as he recovers from a gunshot wound.
