In a bizarre turn of events, Hope and Carter are starting to get romantic on The Bold and the Beautiful. Carter seems to be so infatuated with her that he’s opened up about his grand plans for Forrester Creations, and wants to prevent the Hope for the Future line from being canceled. Steffy’s already got Hope on notice, and now she seems to be gunning for Carter.

The New Feud Revue

Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) sure does love her feuds. She wants to see Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) gone, with good reason. She’s also had a beef with Hope (Annika Noelle) for what seems like ages. Recently, Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) brought back Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) — another person Steffy feuds with — to revitalize Forrester’s jewelry line and tie it in with Hope for the Future. (Find out how Carter and Hope’s romance can create problems.)

When Steffy told Ivy that Carter is Forrester’s COO, she coyly added, “for now…” That seems like the first salvo in her latest potential feud — with Carter. He opened up to the gang about his grand plans that he’d been working on for years: he wants Forrester Creations to be a huge player in the luxury market worldwide by diversifying their products through the acquisition of undervalued companies that are also family-owned and offering luxury products. This didn’t sit well with Steffy.

She’s an Angry CEO

Because Hope can’t seem to just enjoy her life without a man being her focus, she’s now got a thing going with Carter. Once Steffy finds out that the two have been canoodling, especially in the Forrester offices, she’s going to flip her wig. As CEO of Forrester, she could just unilaterally pull the plug on Hope’s line, and fire Carter all in one shot. Steffy particularly has it out for Hope because she kissed Finn (Tanner Novlan), and she’s been waiting for the right excuse to cut Hope loose.

Eric (John McCook) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) didn’t seem too keen on Carter’s ideas, and that’s all the justification Steffy needs to take action. But despite her pleasant demeanor with her family, Steffy has been angry at the world for quite some time. She seems to thrive when she’s at odds with someone, and if she doesn’t find a good excuse to fire Carter, she’ll make his life a living heck until he quits.
