Kanan Surprised By ‘Sheacon’
In an interview with Woman’s World, Kanan admitted that he didn’t expect Deacon to find love with Sheila (Kimberlin Brown). This came as a pleasant surprise to him. “I thought this was the pairing of two baddies who would pull their evil, dark art skills! This was so unlikely, and yet the audience embraced it.”
‘Sheacon’ has been a hit for B&B viewers. Some would hate for Sheila to go back to the dark side. But she’s crumbling since Deacon’s kids still won’t accept her. They wished that their father were married to someone else.
However, Sheila’s not going away quietly. She’s going to keep fighting for her man. As for Deacon, he’s been flirting with Taylor (Rebecca Budig) during their therapy sessions. Despite how Deacon feels, Kanan loves his scenes with Kimberlin.
“Kimberlin’s a tremendous actor, and a wonderful partner,” he said. “I’ve always tried to make one of Deacon’s facets that he’s funny, sometimes, and she plays into that. We’ve become very good friends and have such seamless and easy chemistry, which I appreciate.”

Deacon Is Ready To Fight Back
Deacon was a villain who underwent a redemption arc on B&B. Kanan explored his “paradigm shift,” which is attributed to Taylor. But another reason he’s become reformed is his kids, Hope (Annika Noelle) and Deke (Harrison Cone).
Kanan is proud of Deacon’s redemption arc. But he knows he’s still not perfect, especially when it comes to his love life. He’s playing two women who are in love with him. “I love the fact that I’ve had this redemption arc, but Deacon certainly still has arrows in his quiver,” Kanan exclaimed.
That’s a fair warning to Sheila, who could harm someone once she discovers Deacon’s connection with Taylor. During the interview, Kanan teased that if Sheila returned to the dark side, he would fight back.
