While The Bold and the Beautiful’s Deacon Sharpe hasn’t been seen very much lately, his portrayer Sean Kanan has been non-stop busy. From promoting his latest book to selling his line of hot sauce, the actor has several irons in the fire. But every so often it’s time to stop and recharge. Kanan did that recently and shared his experience on social media.

Body Maintenance Is Like Car Maintenance

B&B’s Sean Kanan teamed up with Dr. Phillip Yoo, who has a PhD in Stem Cell Medicine, to share a video on Instagram. They made two posts about the procedure Kanan went through, the first of which was captioned, “Time for an oil change. My friend Dr. Phil Yoo from Garden Grove, CA is helping me combat fatigue by removing toxins and impurities through a process called EBOO. @superstemcellphd Would you try this? #cleanliving.”

In the video, Dr. Yoo introduced Kanan as the guy who played “the original bad boy of Karate Kid,” as well as Cobra Kai, and asked, “What made you want to clean your blood out?”

Kanan explained that he had seen the doctor perform EBOO, aka extracorporeal blood oxygenation and ozonation. He further noted that, much like keeping a car’s oil line clean, we need, “to do that to our bodies to clean out a lot of the toxins, the heavy metals, the things like that, that we kind of acquire between our food and our environment.” The second post was almost identical except it was close captioned. The Impurities Are Filtered Out

Dr. Yoo also explained that many actors were required to take the COVID vaccine which had some side effects, including fatigue and dizziness. He noted that a few people, “have hypostatic low blood pressure where they get up and they feel dizzy,” and Kanan remarked he had that ever since the pandemic. “I’ll just get out of my bed and feel like my head spinning a little,” he said.

The doctor showed the hose with blood coming out of Kanan’s body which was dark red. He explained that the actor’s blood would go through a machine to be cleared of toxins like, “mold, viruses, bacteria, [and] inflammatory proteins called beta 2 microglobulins,” as well as, “heavy metals…uric acids, and other waste products that shouldn’t be there.”

It was amazing to see the end result, because on Kanan’s other side was a hose with the blood going back into his body and it was a much lighter shade of red, showing that he was truly clean. (Learn about Kanan’s lightning bolt moment that ignited his sobriety.)
