Sean Kanan plays a bad boy on The Bold and the Beautiful. But in real life, he has a big heart. Kanan shared with his fans that he’s taking a stand against animal abuse.
Special Agent
Kanan shared an update with B&B fans on Instagram. He posted a clip of himself net to his wife, Michele. The couple was sworn in as “special service agents.” They will work alongside the Guardian SPCA of the Wildomar-based operation to fight against animal abuse. Kanan shared this special moment and how he felt.
“Today is a very special day for me and [Michele Kanan]. We were both sworn in as special service agents of the guardian spca formalilzing our commitment to fighting animal mistreatment and arresting individuals perpetrating these crimes,” the actor wrote in his caption.
Fans took to the comment section to thank Kanan for his service. They were pleased to see him getting into good trouble. One fan wrote, “The bad boy of Karate fighting against animal abusers? I love it!” Another fan commented, “Congratulations @sean.kanan thank you very much for sharing blessings to you 🙏🏻👏🏻👏🏻”
Superheroes Don’t Always Capes
When we think of superheroes, we often think of Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman. But superheroes don’t always wear capes. They could be walking down the street. Another fan shared their sentiment in a comment posted on Kanan’s post.
“Look at you too superheroes 💪🏻 So beautiful – you guys are rocking it! Doing the most loving things💕 Animals are so innocent and beautiful and as humans we are the guardians of this planet and we need to step up. Thank you!!!❤️🥳🙏🏻” one user wrote.
Other fans agreed that Kanan was the voice that people needed. One exuberant fan wrote, “CONGRATS! THAT’S AWESOME. THE ANIMALS NEED A VOICE!” Across many states and at the federal level, animal abuse is a felony. The Preventing Animal Cruelty and Torture Act (PACT) signed it into law in 2019, according to Alley Cat Allies.
