Thomas is back just in time to see his parents get married. But he won’t get the happy ending he’s looking for. Ridge called off his engagement with Taylor during the September 5, 2025, episode of The Bold and the Beautiful.
Setting The Date
Taylor (Rebecca Budig) got ready for her romantic night with Ridge (Thorsten Kaye). She couldn’t wait to spend some alone time with him since they’ve been working so much lately. Ridge assured Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang, who recently debuted a new ‘do) that he would make things right by breaking off his engagement with Taylor. Yet, he’s been dragging his feet ever since they returned home from Italy.
Having Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) back in town hasn’t helped matters either. He’s been checking in on his father, making sure that he marries his mom this time. Ridge’s broken promises have left their family shattered. Yet, Thomas blames Brooke for what happened to their family.
He claims she’s the reason Ridge has left his kids behind so many times. Once again, Ridge finds himself in a difficult spot. He made a promise to Brooke, yet he told Thomas that he would keep their family together. However, he couldn’t stop lying to himself and to Taylor anymore.
Their romantic night ended on a sad note when Ridge said he loved Taylor and their family. Although he can’t stand the thought of breaking her heart again, he had to tell her the truth. Ridge couldn’t pick a wedding date, and he couldn’t marry her. This truth bomb will leave Taylor in heartbreak once again. Her broken heart syndrome could return, and it could be worse this time around.
What Will Thomas Do Now?
Meanwhile, Thomas surprised Brooke at the office. He warned her to stay away from his father. He doesn’t want her to mess with his family, but his warning suggests that he could be headed down a dark path.
Wait until he finds out that his father called off his engagement with Taylor. Thomas is already obsessed with Brooke and blames her for tearing up his family. He could put her in danger, which would result in Ridge saving her life once again.
