Here’s The Real Reason Why Denise Richards Needs to Return to B&B

Denise Richards, who recurs as Shauna Fulton on The Bold and the Beautiful, recently dropped by The Talk (along with some other entertainment programs) to chat about the Lifetime movie Hunting Housewives. While she was there, host Akbar Gbajabiamila asked the actress if she’d be open to dropping by the half-hour soap for some more shows.

Shauna’s Way

“Thank you,” Richards responded to Gbajabiamila’s question. “I love working on that show. If they called me to come back and work on it, I definitely would. I love everyone there.”

It would make sense for Shauna to revisit Los Angeles right about now now. Oh, sure, Shauna’s daughter Flo (Katrina Bowden) has been MIA for quite some time (we presume she’s off with Wyatt Spencer, played by Darin Brooks, somewhere). But Shauna has other relationships in L.A. she can rejuvenate.

Taylor (Krista Allen) has left town once again (read her exit interview with Soap Hub here) so right now, there’s not a romantic threat to Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) relationship. Shauna was duplicitous in her efforts to snag Ridge as her husband. However, in the end, she came clean and was honest with the fashion designer.

Ridge and Shauna parted on uneasy terms. Who better to stir things up again than the former cast member from the reality series The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? Her return will give Brooke some much-needed story. The woman Ridge calls Logan is at her best when she has a rival for Ridge’s love.
