There are many questions behind the treatment that Grace (Cassandra Creech) suggested for Liam (Scott Clifton). After telling him for months that his tumor was inoperable, she came across this experimental treatment that could save his life. However, it was still new to the medical field and hadn’t been approved. It wasn’t even recommended in the hospital.

So, where did this mystery procedure come from? It’s clear that Grace is up to something because she desperately needed the one million from Bill (Don Diamont). Yet, she felt guilty when she received the funds. B&B fan John Urquhart has the real reason for Grace’s shady game. He believes that she’s back with her scorned ex-husband, Reese (Wayne Brady), who was arrested before.
Mastermind
John believes that Reese is the brains of the operation. He is probably looking for money since he has a gambling addiction. Reese could’ve faked Liam’s diagnosis to have Grace perform minor surgery on him. The surgery wasn’t as invasive as previously assumed. She basically tickled his skull.

Grace is using this procedure to claim that the tumor was removed by some surgical technique that hasn’t been used before. But she’s playing a cruel game. She claimed that Liam had an inoperable and incurable mass. But the truth is that he’s probably not sick at all. She just saw him coming with the Spencer funds and played them for a fool.
