In the Wednesday, April 17 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, recap photos show RJ confronting Zende about what happened with Luna. Hope and Liam chat about Deacon. And Deacon now has more than ten toes on his mind when he mentions Sugar to Finn.

At Forrester, RJ (Joshua Hoffman) and Zende (Delon de Metz) confronted each other over what went down with Luna (Lisa Yamada). At RJ’s Malibu beach house, Poppy (Romy Park) tried to console her daughter. But Luna realized she needed to head to Forrester and talk to RJ herself. Meanwhile, Hope (Annika Noelle) and Liam (Scott Clifton) had this co-parenting thing down pat. They ended up making a deal that required a handshake. Finally, at Il Giardino, Deacon (Sean Kanan) and Finn (Tanner Novlan) talked about Sheila (Kimberlin Brown), Sheila’s apparent resurrection, and Sugar. (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood celebrates a birthday today)
The episode picks up immediately after RJ’s punch. He can’t believe Zende slept with his girlfriend!
Zende tries to tell RJ that he didn’t take advantage of Luna that night. That he had no idea she was drugged. In fact, he thought she made the first move.
RJ was not having it. Not only did he think Zende took advantage of Luna. He felt that Zende had no business sleeping with his cousin’s girl in the first place. That he has always been jealous. He knew that Luna was with RJ.
Zende said, ‘My bad.’ And he’ll take the blame. But he doesn’t think he should blame Luna at all.
Meanwhile, at RJ’s Malibu beach house, Poppy tries to console Luna over RJ’s reaction. She’s worried he’s going to confront Zende…which is exactly what he’s done. Ultimately, she knows she needs to go to Forrester and talk to RJ.
Finn visits Deacon at Il Giardino. Finn asks Deacon how his mental health is.
Finn also wants to know if Deacon has given up on this whole ten toes, Sheila is alive, business. It isn’t going to do his health good if he continues this one-track mind of Sheila’s body not going up in flames.
Liam is (again) at Forrester instead of his own office at Spencer Publications. He and Hope talk about Beth.
The conversation veers to Deacon and his bad choices. Finn is glad Hope kept Beth away from Deacon while he was involved with Sheila.
Hope admits she had to do it. As long as her dad was with Sheila, she had to shut him out of their lives. But now she and Deacon can rebuild their relationship.
Hope says Beth misses Douglas and Deacon. Maybe it’s time for Deacon and Beth to hang out again.
Liam and Hope agree to treat Sheila’s name and memory like Voldemort. They will never mention her name again.
Luna arrives at Forrester just in time to see RJ and Zende’s confrontation. She and Poppy notice the bruise on Zende’s face so they know things are heated.
Zende tells RJ that he has to forgive Luna. It wasn’t her fault, he takes the blame and so does Poppy and her mints.
Finn finally gets his to-go order at Il Giardino’s but before he heads out, Deacon asks Finn about Sugar. He wants to know if he knows anything. Finn says he doesn’t and that Deacon needs to drop it and focus on closing the Sheila chapter of his life.
Yeah, Deacon’s not going to do that. He wants to know who the hell Sugar is. He knows he saw Sheila’s face and ten toes, not nine. He wants to know if she’s still alive.
