It’s been almost a year since Matthew Atkinson has been on The Bold and the Beautiful. Unfortunately, he’s been removed from the show’s opener and credits. Fans have faithfully followed him on social media ever since. The soap actor possibly teased a top-secret project that could be in the works.
Back To Work?
Did Atkinson tease that he’s back to work? The B&B alum posted a cryptic message on Instagram. Most fans were distracted by the latest shot of him. He wore a white polo shirt with olive green pants. The actor cracked a winning smile. Atkinson rocked his short hair and scruffy beard. But it’s his caption that had some fans buzzing.
“This is after 12 hours on a flight. Strait to the hotel, 30 minutes to relax, then onto interviews and photoshoots,” Atkinson wrote. “If you look closely, you can see that I’m literally asleep in this photo. 😄” He had nothing to worry about since he still looked great. You can’t even tell that he only had 30 minutes of sleep.
Atkinson warned fans that appearances aren’t what they seem. He looked great despite being exhausted and sleep-deprived. However, some wanted to know if he had a new project in the works. They were mostly focused on the part where he mentioned attending “interviews and photo shoots.”

Meanwhile, other B&B fans wanted Atkinson to return to the show. They wanted him to save one overriding storyline involving Hope (Annika Noelle). One fan feared that she could end up with Finn (Tanner Novlan) since both of their relationships are about to crumble. A Finn and Hope hookup could be in the works.
“Come back to B&B before they pair Hope with Finn #inevitable,” the user wrote. Other fans just missed him on the show. “You are so missed on Bold❤️,” one fan commented. “Please come back to B&B. You are missed,” another fan echoed. Most of the other comments were in the same vein.
On the other hand, it’s possible that he shared a throwback photo. Atkinson tagged Rome, Italy. Maybe it was from the time when the B&B cast filmed there.
