Yamada Returns to Primetime
According to Soap Opera Digest, Yamada guest-starred on ABC’s Will Trent on Tuesday, March 10. In the episode titled “You’re Only as Sick as Your Secrets,” she plays an upbeat college student.
The episode is centered around a fraternity that’s stepped with secrets. Two of its members have been found dead. And now, Will (Ramón Rodríguez) and his team have to crack the case.
Will Trent is currently in its fourth season. The primetime series has featured many soap actors as guest stars and recurring stars, according to Soap Opera Digest’s report. In the meantime, Yamada is making her first television appearance since Luna met her fate in November.
She recently nabbed the role of Amber in the Prime Video series Elle, a prequel to the popular Legally Blonde movies. Elle streams on July 1, 2026, and also features the late James Van Der Beek in his recurring role of Dean Wilson.
Is Dylan the Next Luna?
The drama isn’t just happening on primetime. B&B fans are wondering whether Dylan (Sydney Bullock) will fulfill the role that Luna left behind. She was the one who hit Luna while she was on the run from the cops.
Dylan later confessed to Electra (Laneya Grace) and Will (Crew Morrow) about what happened. Then, they found out that she was homeless and living out of her car. Out of the kindness of their hearts, they encouraged Dylan to stay at Will’s guest house.
But this situation has caused plenty of trouble. Dylan has a burning crush on Will and could be falling in love with him. Meanwhile, Will is left wondering what happened to his relationship with Electra.
They seemingly broke up after Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) made claims about Will’s “improper” living situation and manipulated their relationship. Because of this, fans are now left wondering who’s the next villain in this storyline. Is Dylan hiding a secret dark side?
