Deacon was pushed too far on The Bold and the Beautiful. He saw that his little girl Hope was in pain, and blamed Carter for breaking her heart. Carter had stolen Forrester Creations at Hope’s urging, but his guilt got the better of him and he gave it back, effectively causing Hope and her fashion line to be summarily let go. So, Deacon did what any other good dad would: he attacked Carter using his karate skills. The two engaged in fisticuffs, and Lawrence Saint-Victor shared a behind-the-scenes look at the epic fight.
Conflict Was Fun
Saint-Victor posted a fun video on Instagram and wrote, “A little behind the scenes action of the Deacon and Carter fight. I had so much fun with @sean.kanan 🥊🥊🥊🥊. @boldandbeautifulcbs.” Deacon’s portrayer, Kanan, poked fun at his scene partner’s height, responding, “If they had just given me the step ladder I requested the fight could have been very different.” Saint-Victor thought it was hilarious and reacted: “😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂”
In the video, Kanan who is a seasoned martial artist and is currently doing double duty on Cobra Kai — was showing someone how he would choreograph the fight. As Saint-Victor throws a right hook, Kanan blocks it, but then his taller castmate throws a left to his stomach, then another right to Kanan’s face. The two really didn’t hit each other, revealing the magic of television. (Should Deacon also give Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) a knuckle sandwich?)
