Understandably, Deacon was not happy with how things went down between his daughter Hope and Carter on The Bold and the Beautiful. Carter and Hope had successfully taken over Forrester Creations, but the former COO realized the error of his ways and gave the company back. This caused The Forresters to fire Hope and cancel her fashion line. Deacon stood up for his daughter and went to the company, assaulting Carter with some sweet karate moves. Lawrence Saint-Victor took to social media to share his joy at playing out the fight between him and Deacon’s portrayer, Sean Kanan.
They Weren’t Kung-Fooling Around
Kanan is well-known for his karate expertise, having been the villain in The Karate Kid III, Mike Barnes, and reprising that role on the spin-off TV series, Cobra Kai. But no one expected him to use his skills on B&B, and when he confronted Carter, who cheesed him off, he sucker-kicked the guy in the knee and landed a punch on his head. The two got into it, and although Daphne (Murielle Hilaire) broke them up quickly, what we got to see was exciting.
Saint-Victor posted some screenshots of Carter and Deacon’s brawl on Instagram with the caption, “It’s not every day you get to throw hands with the bad boy of karate himself, Mike ‘freaking’ Barnes!!!! They Made Striking Impressions
The viewers all enjoyed the fight scenes and shared how fun it was to watch. When one fan commented, “You guys did such a wonderful job with that fight. I got the chills!!!!! 👏👏👏,” Saint-Victor replied, “Thanks, Angie!!!!” Another fan responded, “Loved the fight, Carter needed to catch a beat down for what he did to my girl Hope (Annika Noelle).”
When another fan wrote, “😮💨I was worried you [weren’t] gonna fight back!!” Saint-Victor responded, “@alovely_aquarius I’m gonna get my licks in 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾.” Someone gave the scenes high-praise with the comment, “That was the best brawl in B&B history!” Across the board, fans agreed with another gushing, “Man you were kicking some butt. That was the best fight on TV.”
