The Bold and the Beautiful has visited the real-life Skid Row in downtown Los Angeles in order to shine a light on the social issue of homelessness. Now, B&B actors, including Kimberlin Brown and Ashley Jones, have teamed up with the Union Rescue Mission to help those who are less fortunate.
“Spending the morning prepping tables getting ready for the 100’s of meals that will be served today [Union Rescue Mission] serving soon with this incredible group,” Brown posted along with a photo of herself, Jones (who is returning as Bridget next month), her son, Hayden, Heather Tom (Katie), Alley Mills (Pam), Delon de Metz (Zende), Lawrence Saint-Victor (Carter), and B&B supervising producer Casey Kasprzyk.
“We came to serve them, but they filled us with love,” Jones, who is on her way back to B&B next month as Bridget, posted on Instagram. “We were honored to be a part of [Union Rescue Mission’s] meaningful Thanksgiving day. Thank you to the Bell Family for all the good things you do behind the scenes.”
“Amazing work being done [Union Rescue Mission] ❤️,” shared Kasprzyk. One of Jones’s followers, @mjm1952 responded: “[Casey Kasprzyk] You have an amazing TV cast who continues to work together to bring happiness to those in unfortunate situations 🙌🏻 You are the glue Casey that keeps these fantastic actors together & always ready to bring goodness where needed❤️ Love seeing Ashley 😉.
Check out Jones’s post, which includes a video of B&B actors interacting with Union Rescue Mission workers and people that they’ve helped.
“Looks like @unionrescuemission is doing amazing work 🙌❤️❤️,” posted @amy_davidson. Jones replied, “They are. When boys are older, we can take them to volunteer!” To learn more about the Union Rescue Mission and the work they do, click here.
