The Bold and the Beautiful is known for having comedic guests, like Tom Arnold who plays pilot Deuce, and musical guests like Italian tenor, Andrea Bocelli. Now, the soap has another international music sensation appearing and performing in an episode. Katherine Kelly Lang was so thrilled, she took to social media to spread the word.
Honored
B&B has tapped Jökull Júliusson — aka JJ Julius Son — the frontman for an Icelandic band called Kaleo, to play on the show. According to Deadline, one of the show’s producers happened to be at a Bocelli concert in 2023 and bumped into Júliusson, who was also attending, and asked him to appear on the show. He plays his hit song, Way Down We Go.
Lang (Brooke) was so thrilled by Júliusson’s appearance that she wrote on Instagram, “Very excited to have @julius_son from @officialkaleo on our show today! Tune in to the @boldandbeautifulcbs to see the scenes and his amazing performance! So honored! Thank you so much JJ🙏🎉 By the way, my favorite song is Way Down We Go, I listen to it on repeat👍.”
A Lingerie Tie-In?
Accompanying her words were photos from Júliusson’s appearance on the show in a montage set to Way Down We Go. Various cast members were in the photos with Lang and Júliusson, including Thorsten Kaye (Ridge), John McCook (Eric), Ashley Jones (Bridget), Annika Noelle (Hope), and Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy).

Some of the snaps were of Júliusson playing guitar and singing, with monitors in the background showing pics of Brooke, and appear to be tied into the release of Brooke’s Bedroom lingerie line from Forrester Creations. Most fans sent heart emojis with one exuberantly writing, “This is super cool! 🔥.”
