The Bold and the Beautiful likes to surprise viewers with twists on-screen but it’s possible the show has tipped an upcoming story involving Ridge Forrester via the show’s closing credits. What story is that? How about the designer being reunited with his long-lost sister?
Ridge Forrester: National Siblings Day
At the end of the B&B credits on Monday, the show listed in the show’s guest star/recurring player credits actress Kate Schettler, who is playing the part of Diana. Now, it’s not unheard of for the half-hour show to reuse names — there was a Jack Hamilton (Chris Robinson), Taylor’s dad, and a Jack Finnegan (Ted King), Finn’s pop.
But we have to admit seeing the name “Diana” got us thinking. After all, that’s the name of a daughter Sheila claims to have had with Massimo (the late, great Joe Mascolo). Diana, as an infant, made the scene around 20 years ago when Sheila had kidnapped Ridge, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), and Nick Marone (Jack Wagner).
By the way, Nick’s another name that’s had two incarnations on B&B. In addition to Ridge’s half-brother, there was Nick Preston (Clyde Hayes), who teamed up with Donna (then, Carrie Mitchum; now, Jennifer Gareis) a long time ago to bring down Bill Spencer, Sr. (Jim Storm).

On the other hand, B&B also likes to surprise viewers with twists. Remember “Sandy Sommers” coming onto the show? It wasn’t long before we learned that Sandy was really Agnes Jones (Sarah Brown), the cousin of Whip (Rick Hearst) and older sister of Oliver (Zack Conroy). Why tip the reveal that Diana was back before she even aired?
Then again, we know something is headed Sheila’s way! Kimberlin Brown recently teased something major in a clip she shared of herself turning some pages of a B&B production notes. The actress had a look on her face as if something big was going to happen in Sheila’s life. Could it be the return of her daughter? Brown shared the video set to Taylor Swift’s “…Ready for It,” asking, “Are you ready for it? It’s coming!” Is “it” Diana’s return?
If Diana does come back, Sheila won’t be the only person to whom she’s related. While Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) fondly calls Eric (John McCook) her “granddad,” the reality is that Massimo is Steffy’s biological grandfather. That means Diana (Sheila’s daughter Diana, that is) is related to Ridge Forrester and all his children — including Steffy. And she’d be Finn’s (Tanner Novlan) half-sister! Stay tuned to see if the Diana who appeared in the show’s credits is indeed Sheila’s daughter.
