Is B&B’s Katherine Kelly Lang Teasing A ‘Bridge’ Reunion in Italy?

Brooke Logan and Taylor Hayes made a deal with each other last year on The Bold and the Beautiful — no more Ridge Forrester! However, a trip abroad, which includes both Katherine Kelly Lang and Thorsten Kaye, might reveal that Brooke is unable to keep her promise to the world-renowned psychiatrist.

Last month, B&B confirmed that Lang (Brooke Logan) and Kaye (Ridge Forrester) would be among the actors who were going to go to Italy to shoot remote footage for the half-hour soap. The other talent going includes Lawrence Saint-Victor (Carter), Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy), Matthew Atkinson (Thomas), Annika Noelle (Hope), and Scott Clifton (Liam).

Earlier this week, actors from the show posted on social media that they were doing press with international journalists. One social media account, @TeamForresters, posted some video clips that show Lang and Kaye on remote as they appear to shoot in-character romantic scenes.

A Romantic Red Herring

It’s important to keep in mind that the video in the tweet might not be material that’s going to end up in the script. The B&B cast was doing press in Italy, so it’s possible that the footage of what appears to be Brooke and Ridge reconciling is going to be used for something else.

Lang posted on Instagram a photo of her and Kaye, as Brooke Logan and Ridge Forrester, being romantic. But, again, we don’t know for sure that this is material that will end up on our airwaves — especially given the tags Lang added to her post. “Another photo from press day yesterday,” Lang posted. “Love the mood of ‘Brooke and Ridge’ here. #photooftheday #boldandbeautifulcbs #pressday #roma #italia @boldandbeautifulcbs @iamthorstenkaye #bts.”

Fans posting on Lang’s post are, perhaps not surprisingly, in favor of a Bridge reunion — though we suspect “Tridge” (Taylor and Ridge) fans would beg to differ! “I’d like to see them get back together but really stay together this time. The show needs one good solid couple,” posted @jojan12345678. Another poster, @mariakristiina1966 , wrote: “Ridge is your Destiny. Go Girl. And greetings from Finland. I remember bold and beautiful since 1991. I watch this everyday. Thank you all.”
