Taylor gets caught up in her feelings on the September 27th episode of The Bold and the Beautiful. She heads backstage during the production of Brooke’s Bedroom Line. Taylor clutches her chest as she seemingly pines for Ridge. Her heart failure could be the result of a broken heart.
What’s Really Going On With Taylor?
Dr. Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) met with Dr. Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) earlier this week. It was nice to see the two doctors connect. Taylor revealed that she was dying of heart failure. She found out the grim results while in Europe.
Taylor swore Li into secrecy. She doesn’t want her family to know what’s wrong with her. However, her actions seem to suggest otherwise.
She keeps telling her family she’s proud of them and they should cherish every moment together. This has them wondering what’s going on with Taylor. She’s even willing to put her feelings aside for Ridge (Thorsten Kaye).
Also, Taylor agreed to become friends again with Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) for the sake of their children. This is so unlike Taylor, who’s been competing with Brooke for years. Plus, everyone can tell that she’s not over Ridge.
Nursing a Broken Heart?
During their heart-to-heart conversations, Taylor told Ridge she thought they would always end up together. She admitted that she will always love him. Taylor feels that Ridge is the one who got away. He could be the one who caused her sudden heart failure.
At the end of Friday’s episode, Taylor snuck backstage during the showing of Brooke’s Bedroom Line. She saw Ridge and Brooke in an embrace. Ridge told Brooke that he loved her, and Brooke told Ridge that she couldn’t wait to get him in their bedroom later.
Taylor clutched her chest as she looked at the adoring couple. This seems to suggest that she could be dying from broken heart syndrome, which is a real diagnosis, per Mayo Clinic. Symptoms include chest pain and shortness of breath. Ridge broke Taylor’s heart so badly that her health is failing.
It looks like Ridge could be the one who tries to save Taylor’s life. He finds her on the floor and calls for help. It looks like Finn (Tanner Novlan) and Bridget (Ashley Jones) will be the ones to nurse her back to health.
