How Soap Veteran Sean Kanan’s New Book, Way of the Cobra, Can Help You

In addition to his soap roles of Deacon on The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless as well as A.J. on General Hospital, Sean Kanan is known for playing bad boy Mike Barnes in The Karate Kid Part III movie.

Now, the actor/author is releasing a new tome that he says can help you untap your full potential. “Everyone’s got an ‘inner bad-ass’ in themselves,” says Kanan, adding, “It’s time to unleash yours.”

Kanan says that he truly believes what’s in the pages of his new tome, Way of the Cobra, has the ability to act as a catalyst in terms of changing lives.

The actor says he has both good news and bad news for people interested in learning more about his book and fulfilling their potential. “If you’re like me — or Don Corleone (The Godfather) — you insist on getting the bad news first,” Kanan says. “So, here’s the bad news — I don’t have a ‘silver bullet’ that is immediately going to turn you into that super-successful beast that we all want to be.”

Kanan adds the good news is similar to the Zen riddle that asks how did a ship get inside the bottle. “It was already there,” he says. “Everything you need to unlock the keys to give you the life you want already exists within you.”

This isn’t Kanan’s first book. He previously co-authored Success Factor X. On a professional and personal level, Kanan says his recent accomplishments include losing 35 lbs. as well as creating and starring in the Daytime Emmy-winning serial Studio City (available now on Amazon Prime).
