Crew Morrow is the latest newcomer on The Bold and the Beautiful. The 19-year-old follows in his father Joshua Morrow’s footsteps. His journey into acting was natural. At first, Morrow wasn’t keen on the idea of becoming a soap star like his famous father. It was something that he warmed up to.

Morrow’s journey seems to mimic his character, Will Spencer. He claims that he doesn’t want to be like his father, Bill (Don Diamont). He wants to strike out on his own and create his own legacy. Morrow feels the same way about his blossoming acting career.

Like Will, Morrow also met Laneya Grace (who plays Electra Forrester) in Los Angeles. She previously revealed that the two became friends after their first lunch. In a new interview with Today.com, Morrow shared how he fell into acting. It wasn’t something he wanted to take on at first. Morrow held different jobs over the years.

Even his father, Joshua Morrow (Nick, The Young and the Restless), wasn’t sold on the idea. Understandably, he was concerned about his son. “I don’t think he necessarily wanted me to get into this world because he knows the heartache and the trial you’ve got to go through to make it,” Morrow said.

Once his father realized he was serious about acting, he became more “supportive.” Morrow joins B&B as the latest young recruit. Will is the new intern at Forrester Creations. Unlike Will, Morrow didn’t get into acting because of the beautiful women. He didn’t even love acting at first. (Similarly to how Will hated fashion.)

Morrow enjoyed making videos on YouTube, which is where he developed a passion for filming and editing. Morrow appeared in the movies 24 Hours to D-Day and Continental Split before embarking on his soap acting career.

Stunt Man In The Making

Morrow didn’t get any help from his father. He auditioned for several roles, including one on B&B. The aspiring soap star was convinced that he didn’t get the role of Will Spencer. The show called him back a month later; the rest is history.

Morrow does lean on his father for support and advice on acting. The elder Morrow will offer his son “little tidbits.” Morrow wants to expand his acting career by writing his own movies and doing stunts. This could mean that Will might Electra from her stalker—Who’s coming to Los Angeles on B&B

Y&R  fans would’ve loved Morrow to step into the role of Nick’s son, Christian Newman. It would’ve been the obvious choice. But Morrow loves starting his career on his terms.

“But I’m so thankful that ‘B&B’ decided to cast me as Will Spencer because now I can sort of carve my own legacy on another television show while also being in very close proximity to my dad,” Morrow stated.
