When Zende (Delon de Metz) was promoted to lead designer of Hope for the Future, he was ecstatic. He knew it meant Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) had faith in him. Zende was excited to put forth his own vision and carve out a lane for himself at his family’s company.
Hope (Annika Noelle) changed everything for him. Instead of leading a line, he was in limbo. R.J. (Brayan Nicoletti), approaching him about establishing a line centered on Electra (Laneya Grace), gave Zende renewed purpose. But it put him back in the position of partnering with someone else to bring a collection into the world.
Zende hasn’t been secretive about his frustration with how he and R.J. work. Now his cousin wants to put the fashion house back in the conversation with Electra by Forrester. While Zende brings seniority to the table, that doesn’t mean R.J. will listen to him. In the past, the two have clashed over drafting, the best design idea, and remaining aware of the budget.
Darcy Tells Dylan to Stop Seeking Approval
Dylan (Sydney Bullock) has tried to win Katie (Heather Tom—her next move outside of B&B!) but hasn’t been successful. Darcy (Kelly Sullivan) believes Will’s (Crew Morrow) mom has the wrong impression of her daughter. She made her point clear when she told Katie not to talk down to Dylan.
Darcy approved of the way Will didn’t let Katie dictate his love life. She appreciated the young Spencer’s care for Dylan and was tickled pink by her daughter being in love for the first time. However, she’s not the biggest fan of how Katie’s chosen to go about ensuring her son isn’t getting played.
