Hope did a wellness check on Liam on The Bold and the Beautiful. She wants to spend as much time with him as possible. However, she also has to worry about her fiancé, Carter. Some fans wonder if she’s keeping him on the back burner.
Over-the-Top?
Some B&B fans wonder if Hope’s (Annika Noelle) concern for Liam (Scott Clifton) is a little too much. During the Thursday, June 12 episode, she asked him to stay around as long as possible. Hope also encouraged him to share his condition with his father and brothers. Over on the soap opera message boards, the original poster brought up this thought: “I just wonder if she would be so concerned if she knew she didn’t have Carter waiting in the wings for her, and I understand it’s the way most people act when they know someone is dying.”
Other fans shared their thoughts in the thread. Most admitted they didn’t see anything nefarious going on. They believe that Hope didn’t have a hidden agenda and was just worried about Liam, which is normal. “I thought Hope was just fine yesterday. And believe me, I am no Hope fan,” one user responded. Another fan agreed, writing, “I thought Hope was fine. I’m especially glad she told Liam to tell his family.”

Lope Vs. Cope
Other fans wondered whether Hope would ditch Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) the moment that Liam survives. “Stays with Carter when Liam is ill but dumps Carter when Liam is cured,” one user noted, to which another wrote, “That’s what I think. Don’t see her ranking Carter over Liam once he’s healthy again. Come on, Hope, prove me wrong. Lol.”
Another fan speculated, “I think if there was no Carter, Hope would insist Liam move back to the cabin. She loves her ‘Good Girl’ image, and moving Liam to her cabin away from Steffy in Hope’s mind will one-up Steffy.” However, another fan doesn’t see Liam ending up with either Hope or Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).

“I think Steffy will stay with Finn, even if Liam survives. She really seems to love him. I also don’t think that Lope will get together again or not really soon at least,” they wrote.
