Call the Prison

The first thing Deacon (Sean Kanan) needs to do is call the prison where Sugar!Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) is housed. Lauren (Tracey Bregman) hopes that Sugar’s still in jail and that the real Sheila will be cremated. Easy solve here. Phone the prison, talk to whomever Deacon has to talk to, and confirm she’s still there. This thread needs to be eliminated first. If she’s not there, then Deacon pretty much knows who was cremated.

Deacon Rethinks His Sheila Opinion

Deacon, did you see how shook Lauren was having to relive the pain and damage Sheila and Sugar caused to her life? Did you listen to her talk about how Sheila tricked this woman into getting plastic surgery to look like her? What sane woman does that? It’s time for Deacon to rethink his opinion of Sheila. However, the fear is that Deacon only focuses on the possibility of the woman he loves being alive. And nothing else.

Yes, Sheila caused the Forresters incredible pain, grief, and injury. But if anybody knows how dangerous and psychopathic that woman is, it’s Lauren Fenmore. It’s about time Lauren entered the picture. And we don’t want to see her go anywhere. She needs to be part of the group that tracks down Sheila.

Even though she flew back to Genoa City to resume her life there, Deacon needs to regularly check in with her and keep her up to speed. She needs to be part of the group that uncovers Sheila’s whereabouts and sends that woman back to jail. We need a Sheila/Lauren showdown before the next phase of Sheila’s story continues.

Deacon Enlists Finn…and Steffy

Spoilers for later this week reveal Deacon turning to Finn (Tanner Novlan). But Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) must also be in on this. Right now, she thinks Deacon is delusional (and he kind of is). But she should see all of this Sugar business play out for herself. Selfishly, it would result in more Finn and Steffy quality couple time, meaning Liam (2024 Daytime Emmy Nominee) can go back to soul-searching and/or Spencer Publications while the couple continues to solidify their marriage, which has been shaky as of late.
