Crew Morrow, the latest addition to The Bold and the Beautiful cast, has stepped into some pretty tangled stories as the SORAS’d Will Spencer. Bearing more than a striking resemblance to his father, Joshua Morrow, who has played Nick on The Young and the Restless for thirty years, the actor has already shown an admirable level of confidence on screen.
Movies and Soaps
The younger Morrow has a couple of films under his belt, including the disaster movie Continental Split (2024), with One Life to Live alum Jessica Morris (Jennifer Rappaport) and Chris Bruno, who appeared on soaps such as All My Children and Another World. The busy star also has a war film called 24 Hours to D-Day, appearing with veteran actor Eric Roberts.
Morrow spoke with The TV Watercooler, where he said he’d tried out for Days of Our Lives and General Hospital. Unfortunately, he didn’t get the parts he auditioned for. When asked about his audition for B&B, he explained, “I didn’t actually think I was going to get this! They had a couple of auditions and I didn’t think I did very well on them.”

A Star is Born
Morrow continued, “I remember coming in for a callback with [B&B casting director] Christy Dooley and fumbling my lines. I was super nervous and thought, ‘Maybe the next one! Maybe The Young and the Restless will come pick me up. It’s the final one [that I haven’t auditioned for].” But there was no need as he nabbed the recast of Will.
If you’re not looking at the screen when Morrow is on B&B and only hear him, you would swear it was his dad talking. In a twist that was probably more on purpose than ironic, Morrow’s first scene partner was with his on-screen mom, Heather Tom (Katie), who, of course, used to play his dad’s TV sister, Victoria Newman, on Y&R.

Tom and the younger Morrow instantly developed a mother/son chemistry. Add in the fact he has the same charm and charisma that his old man does, and it’s easy to see why his future is bright!
