On the September 24th episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Steffy had a heart-to-heart conversation with her mom. She noticed that she was crying. Steffy was obviously concerned about her mom and wanted to know what was wrong. But will she find out the truth?
Steffy Could Use Her Daughter’s Intuition
Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) returned home to find her mom, Taylor (Rebecca Budig), in tears. She wanted to know what made her mom so emotional. Taylor told Steffy that Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) visited her. They agreed to get along for the sake of their daughters.
Steffy told Taylor that she wanted to know what was best for her. She even revealed the conversation that she had with her father, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye). She told him to convince Taylor to stick around. Taylor told Steffy that she would stay in Los Angeles with her family this time around. This news made Steffy happy because she wanted her mom around. She had just gone through another life-and-death situation.
Steffy hates it when her mom ups and moves her psychiatric business. Steffy feels that it would be good for Taylor to cement herself. She would also like to see her mom back with her father.
Taylor assured Steffy that she was not looking for romance this time around. She wants to focus on her family, which is unlike her since she’s always wanted Ridge. He was the one who got away time and time again. Taylor just told him that he would always be the love of her life. Now, she’s changed her tune and wants to be friends again with Brooke.
Steffy knows her mom is still in love with her father. She can still see the chemistry between them. Taylor’s new lease on life and ominous words could cause her to wonder what’s really going on with her mother. Steffy could rely on her daughter’s intuition to discover that her mom kept a secret from her. It doesn’t take much for her to get her mom to open up—especially since they’re so close.
So far, only Dr. Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) only knows about Taylor’s heart condition. This could complicate matters and family relationships in B&B. Li could accidentally spill the news to Finn, who’ll have no choice but to tell his wife. There’s no doubt this news will send shockwaves throughout the Logan and Forrester families.
