Since 2010, Scott Clifton has portrayed the complex Liam Spencer on The Bold and the Beautiful. Currently, he’s trying to wrap his brain around the fact that an experimental procedure seems to have removed his previously “inoperable” brain tumor. The show recently celebrated Clifton’s decade-and-a-half journey as Liam, who continues to press forward with strength and courage.
Let the Celebration Begin (at the Beginning)
On Instagram, two screenshots from Liam’s first appearance on B&B were shared. In it, Liam is seated with another character, and the two were troubleshooting computer network issues at Forrester Creations. They were captioned, “Throwing it back to @@cliftoncam ‘s first scene on #BoldandBeautiful as we celebrate his 15 year anniversary today! We 💙 Liam.”
While fans vacillated between wanting to see Liam reunite with Hope (Annika Noelle) and wanting him to get back with Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), one fan simply commented, “Happy anniversary to Scott Clifton🤩🥳🎉✨️.” Another viewer summed up the collective opinions with, “I am so glad that you are keeping Liam around. He’s just a good, thoughtful, sensitive character.”

Fans Want More Liam
Over on Facebook, the show posted the same pics and caption, with many fans recalling Liam’s debut. One fan gave a detailed explanation with the comment, “He came to work at Forrester as a computer expert…but he was really looking for his father. His mother had given him a picture, told him that his father was in that picture. The picture included Ridge, Thorne, Bill, and I think Eric.” The fan then explained how Hope encouraged Liam to get a DNA test, which ultimately proved Bill (Don Diamont) was his dad.
Looking forward, one fan speculated about Liam’s “miracle” cure, writing, “So, I’m thinking Dr. Buckingham [Cassandra Creech] faked all his scans so she could push this unapproved brain surgery for the money. Finn [Tanner Novlan] is already into how off this is. It didn’t look anything like brain surgery.”
However things play out for Liam, one fan brought things together with the comment, “It’s amazing to see you still killing it after 15 years! I hope you will continue to stay on this soap and bring us more exciting storylines 🙌.”
