B&B Alum Ashleigh Brewer Celebrates Her Birthday

It’s been quite a few years since Ivy was last seen on The Bold and the Beautiful — as a guest at Brooke Logan and Ridge Forrester’s latest wedding ceremony — but the beloved performer who brought the bubbly designer to life is busy living her own best life and celebrating a special day.

That’s because she was born on December 9, 1990, in Brisbane, Queensland, which means that this talented performer turned 33 years old today! The actress’s first professional role was Alana in the series The Sleepover Club, a recurring part that Brewer landed at just 12 years of age.

Subsequent work included a guest spot on police drama Blue Heelers and another recurring role, this time on the fantasy series H20: Just Add Water. Upon graduating from Forest Lake College in 2008, Brewer moved to Melbourne and hit the audition circuit.

In quick order, she was cast in Neighbours — one of Australian television’s most popular programs. On May 15, 2009, she made her debut as Kate Ramsey and remained with the soap for over five years. She made the decision to exit the role in 2014 (citing her desire to pursue other projects). As a result, Kate was shot dead in November of that year.

Not long after, Brewer was cast in the role of Ivy Forrester on CBS’ The Bold and the Beautiful. Brewer’s first episode aired in July. After four years, she again decided to leave her role.

Following that exit, Brewer was cast in the HBO film My Dinner with Herve and she returned to her native Australia for six months to play Chelsea Campbell in the serial Home and Away.
