Taylor got into an awkward conversation with Eric on The Bold and the Beautiful. She bluntly told him that Brooke isn’t the right woman for Ridge. Fans have seen sparks fly between the two lately and think they will become the soap’s next couple.

Eric (John McCook) is a supporter of Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang). He’s made it clear that she’s the right woman for his son, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye). Is he propping Brooke up because he wants Taylor (Rebecca Budig) all to himself? (Let’s talk about Eric’s obsession with Brooke.)
This idea popped up on Reddit. The original poster noticed chemistry between Eric and Taylor on Tuesday’s episode. “I’m calling it now. Eric and Taylor will be a couple. This is a set-up for the two of them to become a couple,” the original poster declared.
Though Eric was relieved that Ridge chose Brooke, he still felt bad for Taylor. He checked in on her while she was packing her bags and leaving the Forrester Mansion. Most fans are on board with this plot, but only if Taylor seduced Eric to get back at him.
“I would support this if Taylor just went full evil on this, seduces Eric, gets him to leave Donna, has him propose to her, and on the day of the wedding, just dumps his ass, and gives him a whole monologue on ‘now you know how it feels, Eric! How do you like it?” one fan suggested.
Not A Reach
This storyline isn’t a reach since Eric and Taylor have been together before. Eric was attracted to Taylor before Stephanie (Susan Flannery) passed away. She turned him down at the time because she didn’t want to ruin their friendship.
“She was already with him. Also with Thorne. But hey…it could happen,” one person wrote. However, other fans are grossed out by the idea. “Gross. I can see lazy writers going that route. Real writers would simply give Taylor a new man and allow her some happiness for a change,” someone else suggested.
The B&B spoilers teased that Taylor could move on with a new man. (What’s next for Taylor after heartbreak?) Some fans believe it’s returning favorite Nick (Jack Wagner), who recently asked Brooke to marry him. But she turned him down because she wanted to be with Ridge. “Nick is coming back. Maybe he and Taylor will go another round this time,” suggested one fan.
Some fans disagree and instead stick to the claim that there’s something brewing between Eric and Taylor. They can’t help but notice the words and stolen glances they recently exchanged.
