Both Bridget and Nick are back in Los Angeles. Nick is determined to win Brooke back on The Bold and the Beautiful, while Bridget has to help nurse Liam back to health. However, fans are noticing a glaring omission in their return.
Tossing The Wrong Brick?
We got a “Brick” reunion, but maybe it was the wrong one. Nick (Jack Wagner) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) locked lips even though Brooke still has her eye (and heart) set on Ridge (Thorsten Kaye). B&B fans think the show is putting all of its effort into the wrong “Brick.” They would love to see Nick reunite with Bridget (Ashley Jones).

One fan on Reddit shared a throwback photo of the power couple with the following question: “Anyone else find it odd that Nick and Bridget are magically back in town at the same time, haven’t mentioned each other or seen each other, and Brooke hasn’t mentioned Bridget really either?”
The original poster doesn’t like that Bridget has been reduced to a side character, much like Grace (Cassandra Creech) was, because they were main characters. The Redditor added the following side note: “when I first started watching ever, these 2 were the big couple, so I hadn’t seen him with Brooke before and I LOVED him and Bridget and now I see the difference. 😂”
Avoiding My Exes
Other fans took to the Reddit thread to share their thoughts. Some of them noticed that it was also odd that Bridget and Deacon (Sean Kanan) hadn’t run into each other since they also had a passionate love affair in their heyday. “Bridget, a former leading character on the show, is treated like an extra. It’s weird,” one fan responded.

However, another user argued, “I wouldn’t speak to my ex-husband who had a baby with my mother. Protect your peace, Bridget.” Some fans want Bridget to have a soapy run-in with her exes. Others argued that Bridget deserved a prominent storyline.
“I always found Bridget’s storylines far more interesting than anything with Brooke,” another Redditor noted. What are your thoughts? Do you agree that Bridget should have a bigger storyline? Would you like to see her run into Deacon or Nick? Share your thoughts below in the comments section.
