Thomas is returning to Los Angeles. In the preview for the week of September 1 to September 5, 2025, on The Bold and the Beautiful, he shows up at Forrester Creations and warns Brooke about stealing Taylor away from Ridge. Fans don’t want him involved with this storyline. They want Thomas back for another good reason.
Thomas Returns
Matthew Atkinson is reprising his role as the fan favorite as the B&B spoilers for September 2 reveal. Viewers have been impatiently waiting for his return. The B&B previews show that he’s alone. In the clip, Thomas warned Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) about ruining Taylor’s (Rebecca Budig) and Ridge’s (Thorsten Kaye) engagement. He also finally gets to interact with his new on-screen mom.
But that’s all that the preview gave us. B&B fans wanted more. Will Thomas and Hope (Annika Noelle) cross paths? She’s debating whether she should be with Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) or Liam (Scott Clifton), the latter of whom is trying too hard to win her back. The audience would love to see #Thope cross paths again, especially since she left him brokenhearted.
Not This Love Triangle
It would make sense for Thomas to get involved in Hope’s love life rather than Brooke’s. It looks like he’s going to try to destroy his father’s “destiny” before it happens. One B&B fan took to X, formerly Twitter, to post, “Thomas coming back to prop Tridge and fight with Brooke, no thanks bc it’s just adding to Eric saying Steffy and Thomas parent trap, just let him stay out of that dumb triangle.”
Eric (John McCook) encouraged Ridge to get back with Brooke. He favors her over Taylor. However, Nick (Jack Wagner) was trying to woo Brooke during their trip to Italy. His plans unraveled when his romantic boat ride with Brooke turned to horror. She fell into the water, leading Ridge to save her life. Arguably, he was the one who kissed her and said he would make things right. He’s the one who’s trying to destroy his relationship with Taylor. Since Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Thomas will try to interfere with his parents’ love life.
That same person later added, “Excited to see Thomas but not at the same time bc they be tryna to make him look bad for picking on Brooke, who hated him from the time he was born, they can keep that sh*t.” What’s interesting about this preview is that dark Thomas could make a return. He acted like his old, evil self when he issued that warning to Brooke.
