Denise Richards revealed how she’s feeling since competing on Special Forces. The reality series is nothing to sneeze at. The stunts are real and grueling on the body. The Bold and the Beautiful alum ruptured her breast implants while taking one of the toughest challenges.

Health PSA

Breast implants can be dangerous because they can rupture. Denise shocked fans when she shared that she ruptured her breast implants on FOX’s competition series Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test. During the Friday, January 3 episode of the Jeff Lewis Live radio show, Denise recalled that it happened when she crossed a high bridge.

This sounds like a painful situation that would require immediate medical attention. However, Denise shared with E! News that she still has the problem. She had just filmed the series a month ago when the incident happened.

“I still have to get them redone,” Denise explained. “I was supposed to a month ago, but I couldn’t because we were filming. So, I still have to get them redone.”

Important Lessons

Despite the gruesome injury, Denise learned some important lessons while on the show. She barely struggled to survive two seasons of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Denise broke the fourth wall when she demanded to leave the reality show, but she realized she was tougher than she had previously assumed.

“I learned that I’m stronger than I thought,” Denise shared. “But I wish I was stronger.”

Why did she take on this difficult show? She wanted to put herself out there more. “I learned that when you put your mind to do something, even if you go as far as you can go, at least trying,” Denise explained.

This was a message she wanted to share with her kids. Her daughters Eloise, 13, Lola, 19, and Sami, 20, were “not very happy” when they learned she was trying the military-style show. They were scared of the thought of losing her.

Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test premieres on FOX on Wednesday, January 8 at 8 p.m.
