The Bold and the Beautiful’s supervising producer, Casey Kasprzyk, has been busy coordinating the drama in the Los Angeles-set soap. He recently thanked everyone who was involved in bringing the show to Italy once again for a fun story. He’s also had to defend Thorsten Kaye from bogus Internet rumors, whose character Ridge is about to battle a heartbroken Taylor this week. Despite all that going on, he took some time to attend a fan convention and admitted to being starstruck by some of the people he met.

Hollywood Legends and Soap Connections

The Hollywood Show, a long-running fan convention in Burbank, CA, returned in September 2025 with a lineup of classic TV and film favorites. Kasprzyk was there and shared some pics on Instagram, writing, “The best @hollywoodshow1 yet! Getting a chance to meet Jaws legend and ‘Mr. Holland’ [Richard Drewyfuss] was very cool. Plus saying hello to [Kato Kaelin], Tina Cole (My Three Sons), and [Cam Clark] (also relatives of one B&B Director Jennifer Howard!), plus B&B Alum [Jim J. Bullock]!! Scroll to the end to see my newest autographed @originalfunko pop 🦈.”

His post came with plenty of proof: a Dreyfuss-signed Jaws 50th Anniversary Matt Hooper Funko Pop, snapshots with Kaelin, Cole, Clarke, Bullock, and Dreyfuss himself, as well as a quick video of the Oscar winner signing autographs for fans.

Soap stars were quick to cheer him on. B&B’s Don Diamont (Bill) enthusiastically commented, “😀👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼,” while The Young and the Restless’ Lauralee Bell (Christine) chimed in, “So great! ⭐️” Even Kaelin joined the fun with, “L😂VE IT!!” before bantering back and forth with Kasprzyk in the comments.

Fans Celebrate the Crossover

Viewers loved seeing the producer step into fan mode. One follower raved, “Love the photos! The funkos turned out great!” Another added, “Very exciting!! I still watch My Three Sons & was a fan of Katie & Rob!! Tina looks great ❤️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Richard Dreyfuss definitely a legend!! Jaws 1 is my favorite! Loved Hooper, Quint & Brody together on the ship👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻.”

Others saw it as a moment worth remembering: “Gads, a day for the memory book🥂” wrote one fan, while another commented, “I was thinking of going. Glad you had a good time.” Kasprzyk replied to that with, “@thomas_j_churchill it’s always a surprising experience!”

Whether he’s behind the camera or not, Kasprzyk’s enthusiasm proved that soap opera magic and Hollywood nostalgia aren’t all that different.
