It’s unlike him to want to cause a corporate shakeup. The Forresters weighed his visions for the company during the Monday, October 28 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful. While Carter’s proposal was creative, the family wondered if it would backfire.
Sudden Desire For Hope
Eric (John McCook) met with Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) to discuss Carter’s (Lawrence Saint-Victor) visionary genius. They loved his ideas, but they felt it was a huge financial risk. Steffy and Ridge wanted a more traditional and conservative future for the family fashion house.
They wondered where Carter’s sudden desire for Hope for the Future came from. Steffy expressed reservations about keeping the couture line; the numbers show it hasn’t been doing well. Last month, Carter agreed with Steffy. Now, he’s done a complete 180 on his feelings for the brand.
He wants to bring HFTF to the forefront. One of Carter’s plans was to create a lingerie line similar to Brooke’s Bedroom. But HFTF is a colossal failure. Will sexy lingerie give it the life that it needs?
What made Brooke’s Bedroom work is that Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) was the face of the brand. She gave older women hope that they could be sexy, too. There’s nothing innovative about lingerie for 30-something women.
What’s In Carter’s Head?
During her conversation with her father and grandfather, Steffy wondered what had gotten into Carter. (Here’s What Lawrence Saint-Victor Says carter is thinking.) She wanted to know whether Hope (Annika Noelle) had gotten into Carter’s head. Steffy doesn’t trust Hope and believes she manipulates everyone.
Steffy’s right about Hope getting into Carter’s head. What Steffy doesn’t know is that she’s also trying to get into his bed. Hope loved that he fought for her during that impromptu meeting. She loved it so much that she felt ready to have sex with him.
However, she didn’t lock the office door, and her mother walked in on them. Like Steffy, Brooke had concerns and wanted to know what this could mean for their future at Forrester Creations. Hope and Carter’s romance could end the Logans as we know them.
